Overview

Showcase a few of our frontend "wow" factors (snippets and new features), while highlighting our backend integration edge, since everything connects natively to the other Odoo modules. Contrast this with the drawbacks of building on Shopify: You need external apps for everything, even basic features require third-party apps. Once you edit your Shopify website, it no longer receives theme updates. In Odoo, customizations are just snippets, and updates can still be forced. You can't just add a new feature. On Shopify, that often means hosting your own backend somewhere else and integrating it externally, which requires a developer. In Odoo, almost everything you need is already integrated. Shopify's checkout isn't customizable at all, and it isn't even part of your actual website. Return management is a pain, handled entirely by unofficial third-party apps. Here I'll showcase our new return management feature as the counterpoint. Shopify takes a percentage of your sales. We don't.
